Ready for round two ?

Before we rush and introduce the second round to our book club meet-up’s, we’d like to express our gratitude to everyone who made it to the first gathering of the Slow Pour Book Club..

Each of you brought an incredible energy that transformed our vision into a living, breathing community. Your presence reminded us of the power of shared stories and the magic that happens when minds and hearts come together.

In a world that often feels too fast, carving out this space for meaningful conversation and connection is essential.

Our community isn’t just about books; it’s about people, perspectives, and the joy of exploring new ideas together.

Each gathering creates a space for us to grow, learn, and connect more deeply…

Now, we’re excited to invite you to our next chapter!

Whether you’re a returning member or a new face, you are part of this journey, and we can’t wait to hear your insights and stories as you read along.

So here’s what we’re reading next..

On earth we’re briefly gorgeous       |              Ocean Vuong

A novel by Ocean Vuong that explores themes of identity, memory, trauma, and family.

Written as a letter from a son, nicknamed Little Dog, to his illiterate mother.

The novel navigates the complex relationship between the two, touching on their immigrant experiences, as well as their struggles with poverty, violence, and love…

The Slow Pour Book Club meets once a month, typically on the last Thursday. We dive into all types of books—sometimes fiction, sometimes non-fiction, but always a worthy read.
