Photography Muse, Ronan Mckenzie
For millennia, many artists, writers, poets and musicians have invoked the muses to inspire them in their work. From Homer to Shakespeare to Chaucer.
Many have been inspired by an individual whom they refer to as their muse. We’re no different, here’s a closer look at an individual who’s photography and film captures both our creativity & imagination.
A muse, Ronan Mckenzie is a London-based photographer, curator & publisher. Known for her emotive portraiture. With a reputation for fusing authenticity and strength in each intimate portrait. Her photography focuses on themes that unearth hidden beauty and cultural imagery. In 2020, she launched the creative space 'Home' in response to the lack of inclusive and accessible art centres. Based in London, the space includes a library and photography studio, with a wide roster of events including exhibitions, talks and workshops.
